In the final results from Summit Motorsports Park and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Megan Meyer, Olathe, Kan., and Ray Drew, Hales Corners, Wis., took home the wins in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car respectively for the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.
 
Meyer, worked her way through the field and ran 5.320 seconds at 277.94 mph in her final round victory over home state racer Troy Coughlin Jr., Delaware, Ohio, who clocked in at 5.369 seconds, 275.67 mph.
 
Drew faced off against Ulf Leanders, Viksjofors, Sweden, and posted an easy win as Leander’s left early and triggered the red light. Drew coasted across the finish line in his ’14 Mustang for his first national event win.

Drag Racing Edge magazine editor John Di Bartolomeo, of Beaver Springs, Pa., captured the win in Super Stock stopping veteran driver Bob Marshall in the final round. 
 
In the SAM Factory Stock Showdown. Joseph Welch, Long Boat Key, Fla., backed up his win from a week ago in a close final round against Mark Pawuk, Akron, Ohio. Welch took the win, clocking in at 8.107 seconds and 168.07 mph, with Pawuk having an impressive runner-up finish at 8.115 seconds and 168.58 mph.
 
In the Top Sportsman Class presented by Racing RV’s, it was Dusty Meyer, Tonganoxie, Kan., taking the win against Mark McDonald and John Biagi, Granville, Ill., won in Top Dragster presented by Racing RV’s over Bobby Ray McMahan.
 
Other racers visiting the winner’s circle this weekend were David Rampy, Piedmont, Ala., in Comp Eliminator; Todd Hoven, Milltown, N.J., in Stock; Dan Fletcher, Churchville, N.Y., in Super Comp; and Tom Diamond, Dublin, Ohio, in Super Gas.
