CPTV FEATURE - A DRAG RACING FAMILY, A CLASSIC '56 GASSER AND THEIR DEDICATED DRIVER

The Southeast Gassers Association (SGA), drag racing's strictest period-correct Gasser series, has more than colorful and entertaining cars. The cars, in fact, almost pale in comparison to the driver's who pilot these crude replicas of drag racing history. In this video, you'll meet the One Gone Dog team, driver Ernie Smith, his talented back-up girl and the Claytons, Bootsie and Sonny. This classic shoebox made its way to the Carolinas via California, and was purchased by the Claytons. In a way, the Claytons are indirectly responsible for all of this wild style of racing in the Southeast Gassers Association because of their family building Spartanburg Dragway, the launching point of many drag racing careers including Quain Stott's.In this episode, fellow Gasser racer Tim Greer interviews the them all in what could be easily described as one of the most entertaining presentations.
