Kyle Busch is no stranger to victory lane in the Xfinity series.

Busch is definitely not a stranger to victory lane at the one-mile Phoenix International Raceway. With his dominating win in Saturday's DAV 200 he's now been to victory lane there eight times in Xfinity competition -- a track record. Busch started from the pole and led 190 of the race's 200 laps en route to his sixth victory of the season in Xfinity competition.

Busch said he hoped there was some way he could translate his success in the 200 lap affair to Sunday's all-important 312 lap Sprint Cup showdown.

"We've kind of struggled at this race track with Joe Gibbs Racing since they repaved it," Busch explained. "As a whole, Denny (Hamlin), Matt (Kenseth) and myself. We've maybe had a top eight here or there but we're nowhere near like the No. 4 (Kevin Harvick) or the No. 41 (Kurt Busch) and those guys that continue to run well here each time. I do feel like there are some things that I learned today that could possibly help us for tomorrow and I'm looking forward to sharing what I think I know with (crew chief) Adam (Stevens) here in a little bit, I felt as though we have made some gains as a company. I feel like we're better here than where we were last year. I didn't race here in the spring, so I wouldn't know about that.

"All things considered, I'm looking forward to having a good, solid day tomorrow."

Brad Keselowski finished a distant second place to Busch. The finish is Keselowski's 11th top ten finish in 17 career races at Phoenix and his ninth top-ten finish of the season.

Busch's JGR teammates Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez finished in third and fourth place, respectively.

Heading into next week's series finale at Homestead, the championship race is still anyone's for the taking. Current series points leader Chris Buescher struggled to a 13th place finish but his closest competitors, Chase Elliott and Ty Dillon, couldn't capitalize on it. Buescher now clings to an 18 point lead over defending series champion Elliott, Dillon is 22 points back and Regan Smith is a distant 24 points back.

Buescher is confident heading into the season finale.

ìEven though they gained some points, honestly, unless something crazy happens at Homestead," Buescher said. "Itís just not going to be enough."
