Little did the Pro Stock contingent of yesteryear realize that Bob Glidden's Championship of 1980 was pointing towards the wave of the future. A dedicated in house engine development program, taking each race one round at a time, a second to none preventative maintenance program, crew quarters at the race shop, and an intensive on going R&D program. To say that he was ahead of his time was an understatement.
