1-21-08datsun.jpg FEEDBACK ARTICLE - THE DATSUN 280ZX FUNNY CAR ERA

Thank you for the great write up of the Datsun funny cars.  Hopefully my project will gain your instrest.  I am currently building my first Funny car and yes it is a Dutsun: One of only 2 survivors from the orginal "12 or so.." as per Gary Densham.  The body was purchased about 3 years ago from Forrest LeBlanc here in Washington.  I then bought a local chassis, built by Tony Cazares, that has been in competition for several years: Traced to its original owner Tom McEwen.  This was the second COORS Light vette that Tom sold off.  All of thees details have been comfirmed by Tom Prock. - Jeff Dykes
