Racepak Data Systems announces the release of the G2X Pro, a data system specifically created for the circle track and road racing market. The use of GPS eliminates the need for wheel speed sensors, on-board beacon receivers and trackside transmitters, greatly simpli­fying the installation process.

With Racepak’s exclusive V-Net, smart sensor plug and play technology, only three cables are required to transmit the data from up to 71 external sensors, greatly reducing installa­tion time and cockpit wiring clutter. Optional sensor packages include: Driver input (steering, throttle and brake pressure), suspension (shock) travel and ride height, plus the full line of Racepak Sensors. Sensor channels are pre-named in the software, eliminating the need for software setup and allowing immediate use upon connection to system. The Datalink-II software provided with each G2X Pro provides a powerful data analysis system, in an easy to learn, easy to use format.

Speed, track mapping, lap time, segment time, lateral g, accel g, engine rpm and battery voltage are all available from the base G2X Pro Package.
