For the past two years, Legends of Nitro has printed color calendars supporting the current class of nitro funny cars, both in the NHRA Heritage Series and the former IHRA show.

For 2017 Legends of Nitro added a fuel altered calendar as a tribute to that growing class of racers, with some awesome vintage photos by Tom West shot at Irwindale and OCIR and the reaction was unbelievable.  The participation of some great photographers has made these calendars a collectable promotional piece that is distributed free, through Legends of Nitro and individual participating nitro teams.

In order to have the 2018 Calendars printed in time for distribution at the upcoming California Hot Rod Reunion the folks at Stith are sending out a call to those racers who’d like to be included for next year.  

All 2017 calendar participants are guaranteed placement in the 2018 edition and, if necessary, we’ll publish two nitro funny car calendars for next year, but they need to know of your interest in being included.

For 2018 the fuel altered calendar will focus on the current field of traditional, non-transformer type altereds and will still include some vintage photos. 

At this point they’d like to know if you are interested in participating for 2018, the price is $300 for 200 calendars delivered at the California Hot Rod Reunion and if you are supplying any photos they must get a photo credit and the approval of the photographer.
