850 CFM Q-Series Carb from Quick Fuel Technology

Quick Fuel Technology's new Q-Series carburetor is capable of supporting over
900 horsepower! This purpose built carb, designed for blow-thru style
superchargers, is best suited to serious racing big block engines.
The Q-850-BAN
is more than enough to squeeze that last little bit of power from your engine to
achieve that low E/T.

The polished cast-aluminum main body and float bowls, along with the billet
throttle body and metering blocks, reduce the overall weight immensely over
conventional carbs! QFT's CNC machined metering blocks with 4-stage emulsion
provide more precise fuel metering with improved throttle response and a more
uniform fuel performance curve. Q-Series carbs feature four-corner idle,
adjustable idle air bleeds, Teflon-coated slabbed throttle shafts with Teflon
ribbon bearings and four clear sight glass windows for easy float level
adjustment. Even with the great adjustability, the Q-850 is not recommended for
street applications.

Based on an original bomber jacket design, the new jacket features

ROUSH® 427R TRAK PAK™ MUSTANG BRAKES AND SUSPENSION

When ROUSH® Performance unveiled the 427R Trak Pak™ Mustang
last summer,403144.jpg it was universally heralded by media and consumers alike for the
incredible handling and stopping ability. Now, those same components are
available to install on any 2005-2008 Ford Mustang.

The Trak Pak suspension features adjustable rebound front
and rear dampers which allow different settings to be utilized for street or
racetrack driving. The front and rear ride height is adjustable up to 35 mm
lower (1.4-inches), and there is the ability to dial in up to three degrees of
negative camber. The kit comes with high tensile strength linear rate springs
with tender coils and matching elastomer jounce bumpers. The suggested retail
price is $2,499.99 (part number 403151).

The 6-piston brake calipers are constructed from an aluminum
forging which will give better feel under extreme braking conditions such as
driving hard into a turn on a racetrack. Different piston sizes minimize pad
taper for a longer pad life and a firmer brake pedal. The kit includes 14-inch two-piece
slotted rotors and a larger brake pad than either OEM or the ROUSH 4-piston
calipers which leads to lower pad temperatures and better pad life. The
suggested retail price for the 6-piston brake kit is $3,697.99 (part number
403144).

NEW GM LS1/LS6 ROLLER ROCKERS

PROFORM PARTS551_562img1.jpg has a new addition to their extensive line of performance valve
train products. These new roller rockers for the GM LS1 and LS6 engines are
engineered to replace the factory rockers and fit under the stock GM valve
covers. Obviously roller rocker reduce internal friction and wear, as well as
prolong valve train component life. They can be used with all types of engine
oil and additive lubricants.

 

These PROFORM PARTS rockers are available in 1.7-ratio (#67940) or 1.8-ratio
(#67941) and are installed with normal hand tools. Simply remove the factory
rocker and rocker stands, and install these new PROFORM roller rockers. It is
recommended to always check head and valve cover clearance and that you have the
correct lifter preload. This is particularly important when changing camshafts
or having the heads machined. Also make sure the pushrods are the correct length
for your modifications.
