Cruz Pedregon, owner / driver of the Advance Auto Parts NHRA Nitro Funny Car, joined executives of Advance Auto Parts at the New York Stock Exchange on November 29, 2006 to celebrate the company’s fifth public anniversary.  In honor of the occasion, Chairman, President and CEO of Advance Auto Parts Michael N. Coppola rang The Closing Bell^SM.

 

After touring the Exchange floor with Advance executives, Cruz Pedregon appeared along with the Advance Auto Parts showcar and simulator outside the Exchange. The showcar and simulator were set up on Wall Street for the day providing excitement to all the Exchange visitors.

The Advance Auto Parts showcar includes a race ready 8,000 horsepower Nitro Funny Car as well as a realistic driver simulator that puts fans behind the wheel to experience a real drag race.
