Troy Coughlin was uninjured when his turbocharged Pontiac made contact with the wall during testing yesterday at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Ga.

Apparently the transmission line came loose and sprayed fluid under the tires at the 300-foot mark. The situation yielded a fair amount of smoke and the car subsequently drifted into the left retaining wall. Coughlin was running the left lane.

The GTO is already on its way to Jerry Haas Race Cars to assess any damage that may have transpired. Testing will resume once the car is given a clean bill of health.
