At the annual EMPA convention outside Philadelphia on Saturday, January 27, East Coast drag racing photographers earned numerous awards during the EMPA/ Chad Sinon Motorsports photography contest. Those earning honors were:

Todd Dziadosz- Best of Show and 1^st place- Action, published on www.beaversprings.com, 1^st place- Pure Art, 3^rd place- Pure Art and two Honorable Mentions

Phil Hutchison- 3^rd place- Action, published in National Dragster

Harold Hoch-2^nd place- Picture Story and two Honorable Mentions published in the Berks-Mont Newspapers

Richard Grunert- 2^nd place- Unpublished Color

EMPA members number over 250 of the finest writers, broadcasters, and photographers on the East Coast.
