ROYAL PURPLE EXPANDS FACILITY

High performance lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple recently expanded its manufacturing facility with the addition of a new 1.2 million gallon tank farm.  The new 32-tank farm holds bulk raw materials that are needed for blending Royal Purple’s proprietary high performance lubricants.  “The second farm will enable us to more than double our production run in just a single shift,” says Production Manager Leigh McClellan.

The expansion comes just four years after the completion of their new automated blending facility.  “We initially built the plant in anticipation of moderate steady growth,” says Marketing VP Mark McFann, “We’re growing faster than anticipated and we’re expanding to ensure that customers continue to receive the on-time fill rate they’ve grown accustomed to.”

Founded in 1986, Royal Purple has evolved from a small industrial lubricants company to a highly respected leader in the production of high performance lubricants for both industrial and consumer use.   Royal Purple’s industrial products are used by Fortune 500 companies world-wide and their consumer automotive products have been endorsed by numerous automotive experts including Hot Rod, Overhaulin, Trucks!, and many more. Because Royal Purple’s sole focus is on creating state-of-the-art lubricants—unlike most oil companies that primarily focus on fuel—its industry experts develop products that significantly outperform other synthetic and mineral-based oils in the lab and, more importantly, in the field.
