In an effort to dispel rumors about the condition of Budweiser/Lucas Oil crew chief Tim Richards, Kenny Bernstein wants to advise fans, friends and members of the drag racing fraternity that Tim is fine and is at home resting.

           
“At our Indianapolis race shop Friday afternoon, Tim felt nauseated and dizzy.  As a precautionary measure, Kim had Tim transported to Methodist Hospital where tests were run.  The results were negative and Tim was released.

           
“We are happy to report that Tim is healthy.

           
“We would like to switch gears and ask that everyone join our race team in prayers for the family of Eric Medlen and his extended family at John Force Racing. 

           
“Eric was a positive influence in everyone’s life that he touched.  He was kind, had a great sense of humor, and was like a brother to Brandon.  We are all reeling from the shock of his loss.”
