The 16th Annual Doug Herbert Performance Center Open House will take place this Saturday, May 12, 2007.
Doug Herbert, owner of Doug Herbert Performance Parts and driver of the Snap-on Tools Top Fuel dragster, will be on hand throughout the day, manning the parts counter, signing autographs and even firing up the Snap-on Tools dragster.
The entire Snap-on Tools Top Fuel team will be present to display for customers the haulers and equipment used to transport the entire race operation across the country and from track to track.
The Open House, held every year the day before Mother’s Day, will also feature a fantastic car show, free hot dogs and soft drinks, and plenty of performance parts for sale at the best prices possible.
“I’m excited about the Open House,” said Herbert. “It always gives me an opportunity to thank the customers and fans for supporting me, Doug Herbert Performance Parts and Snap-on Tools.
“Being able to fire up the Snap-on Tools dragster for people that can’t make it to a race is really cool, too. It’s always fun to see the looks on their faces when they hear how loud it really is.
“There are always lots of nice cars for the car show, and who doesn’t love free hot dogs? It’s always a good time, and I look forward to it every year.”
