SPOTS OPEN FOR ULTIMATE 64 FOOTBRAKE EVENT

There are still a handful of spots available in the Ultimate 64 Footbrake Shootout, to be contested June 9, 2007 at Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, KY.  The Footbrake shootout, a small portion of the 2nd annual Ultimate 64 Shootout that will take place all weekend, features a 64-car single elimination field (no buybacks) for $12,000-to-win ($500 entry fee).  The runner-up will earn $4,000, with each semi-finalist taking home $2,000.  Quarterfinalists will earn $1,000, with 3rd round losers taking $500.

The marquee event of the weekend, the $50,000-to-win Ultimate 64 Super Pro Shootout is filled, as are the 32-car Friday shootouts in Footbrake and Super Pro.  New for 2007 is the No Electronics 32-car shootout on Friday night, which also has a handful of entries still available.  In addition to the myriad of high stakes gamblers events, the Ultimate 64 weekend will also host a $5,000-to-win Super Pro bracket each day, and a $2,000-to-win No Box bracket each day that are open to all competitors.

Fun and games are planned for the whole weekend, kicking off with a golf scramble and Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament in Thursday prior to the event.
