Drag racing Hall of Fame builder/racer Gordon Nye Frank Jr.,died on Sunday, the result of injuries sustained in a fight with 27-year old Ty Reddish.

 

The 68-year old Frank was unconscious when deputies found him shortly before 10:30 a.m., and died at his home despite medical aid from firefighters, said Deputy Javier Rodriguez. The county coroner's office had not released the cause of death as of Sunday night.

Reddish was arrested on suspicion of murder, based on information at the scene, sheriff's officials said. The case will be forwarded to the Riverside County district attorney's office.
