The finalists for the Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com Pro Stock Showdown have been confirmed. The Showdown will take place next weekend at Maryland International Raceway during the Torco Racing Fuels President’s Cup Nationals.

Heading into this weekend’s race at Milan Dragway, the only driver with a mathematical chance to get into the Showdown was Rickie Smith. However, when John Nobile qualified No. 9 for the Suzuki Motor City Nationals, he shut the door on Smith’s chances.

The pairings:

#1 - Robert Patrick vs. #8 - John Nobile

#2 - Pete Berner vs. #7 – Rob Mansfield

#3 - Steve Spiess vs. #6 – Frank Gugliotta

#4 - John Montecalvo vs. #5 – Brian Gahm
