NHRA PM FRIDAY

tindleDSB_0242.JPGTim Tindle drove his Chuck Ford-tuned 67 Mustang to the top of the AMS Pro Mod pack at the ACDelco NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas. His 6.023/236.55 run was good enough for both the No. 1 spot and the win over Scott Ray in the first round of the $50,000 ProCare Rx Pro Mod Clash.

"We're pretty pumped right now.  I think we hit it pretty much on the bull's eye on both runs. That's the first time in a while that we have led two back-to-back qualifying sessions. That is a big confidence builder that we've been lacking," Tindle said.

Also coming out on top in the Clash were John Russo, Steve Engel and Jay Payne. Payne defeated 2007 World Champion Josh Hernandez in a brilliant side-by-side drag race, 6.068/235.51 to 6.074/237.88. Payne took a huge starting-line lead with a .029 reaction time to Hernandez'.064. tindleDSB_0242.JPGTim Tindle drove his Chuck Ford-tuned 67 Mustang to the top of the AMS Pro Mod pack at the ACDelco NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas.
