It was a
beautiful day to end the tracks bracket race season. Brilliant blue skies and
fall colors decorating the trees along with crisp cool air presented a great
setting for the first annual Autumn Classic. Nearly 100 cars enjoyed the
perfect track conditions and fall weather in what is sure to become a yearly
event.
Owner Bill Wilson has overseen the restoration of the Darlington track to reclaim its prominence as one of the best tracks in the industry. Additional planned improvements are geared toward returning the track to national event status.
Darlington Dragway is now open for Grudge Test N Tune every Wednesday night from 5:30-11 PM and Saturday afternoon from 12 noon until 5 PM.
