JOHN FORCE HOLIDAY CAR SHOW

John Force’s return to the autograph table will be one of the highlights of Sunday’s annual John Force Holiday Car Show benefitting the California Highway Patrol’s ChiP’s for Kids Christmas toy drive.
 
 Force, injured in a Sept. 23rd crash in Dallas, Texas, has been undergoing rigorous physical therapy since returning to California following 27 days of rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center in Texas.
 
 The 14-time NHRA Funny Car champion will be joined in the celebrity line by daughters Ashley, Brittany and Courtney, wife Laurie, 2006 and 2007 POWERade Series runner-up Robert Hight, crew chiefs Austin Coil, Bernie Fedderly and Dean “Guido” Antonelli, new Team Force driver Mike Neff and racing legends Tom “the Mongoose” McEwen and Gas Ronda.
 
 Other participating celebrities are Robert Gossett from the TV series “The Closer,” Jimmy Shine from the TV show “Hard Shine,” Jeana and Vicki, stars of the reality show “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and the stars of the Speed Freaks radio and TV show, Kenny Sargent and sidekicks Lugg Nutz and Statt Man.
 
 Spectator admission to the car show, featuring hundreds of street rods, muscle cars, motorcycles, trucks, race cars and classics along with the music of country and western singer Peter Brandon and the concluding autograph session, is the donation of a new, $10 unwrapped toy.
 
 Among the speciality cars on display will be Jay Leno’s “Tank Car,” Chip Foose’s “HemisFear,” Barbie’s “Pink Hummer,” a jet-powered PT Cruiser limo, several antique fire trucks and a one-of-a-kind Surf Woody.
 
 John Force Racing, Inc., is located off the 91 Freeway.  Exit Weir Canyon/Yorba Linda Boulevard North, bear right on Savi Ranch Road and follow the signs for parking.  The show begins at 10 a.m. Sunday and concludes at 4 p.m.
