The Power Glide Pro Mods took on the Quick 8 Outlaws in the battle of the
Power Glides. When the smoke had cleared Ronnie Davis had ran a 4.21, 173.66 in qualifying and went on to win the race beating Jeff Tyson by a 4.29 to a 4.35 margin.That marked Davis’s 16th final round of 2006 drawing closer to last season’s 17 final personal best. Davis is reportedly going for 20 this year and at this pace he'll make it. Davis is also leading the NHRA Div.2 Top Sportsman division.
