"We look closely at the sponsor reports every year," Bornstein said. "The return on investment that Terry provides with his marketing program far outweighs our expectations. Our District Managers and distributors believe strongly in this program. It only makes sense for us to not only renew, but expand our relationship with Terry and Hoosier Thunder Motorsports."

Part of the expanded effort for Amalie includes the primary sponsorship of the Amalie Oil "Party in the Pits". The Hoosier Thunder hosted event will take place in the pits between McMillen's Top Fuel and Funny Car teams. Guests, which include Amalie distributors, customers and winners of radio, television and website promotions, will be treated to lunch with McMillen and his crew, a private autograph session, photo opportunities and behind-the-scene tours of "live" pit areas. Guests will also have the opportunity to win a Freedom Grill, the ultimate tailgating accessory.

Amalie will also sponsor a new fan-friendly feature called PitBoard. PitBoard will provide fans a real-time look at the current qualifying efforts of all professional classes from a big screen television located in the pits.

Amalie will also depend on Hoosier Thunder Motorsports to manage and expand its contingency program, providing a presence at IHRA national events by displaying on the manufactures midway, making a wide selection of premium Amalie motor oils, transmission fluids and racing oils available to fans and race teams. Along with an exciting new contingency sponsorship program, Amalie and Hoosier Thunder will unveil a new website together - AmalieStore.com. AmalieStore.com will make select oils, wearables, and merchandise available on the Internet.

"We are very excited about renewing our relationship with Amalie," McMillen said. "They're the perfect marketing partner for us. There are a lot of exciting elements to this program. As we begin to activate them, I think fans and racers will be excited also. I can't say thank you enough to Harry Barkett, Denny Madden, Don Bornstein, Andrew Bornstein and all of the associates and partners of Amalie Oil."

McMillen was also excited to announce a new partnership for Hoosier Thunder Motorsports. Edmonton businessman, Rob Reeves, will join Hoosier Thunder Motorsports as a consultant and marketing partner. Reeves owns and operates several businesses throughout Canada. The cornerstone of Reeves' business ventures is Global Power Systems, a worldwide supplier of generator sets and industrial engines. He also has interests in other businesses including recreational vehicle dealerships and racing venues.

"Rob and his wife Kim have been instrumental in the success of this team for many seasons," McMillen said. "They have more marketing savvy than anyone I know. Our relationship with Rob strengthens our ability to promote his businesses and serve our partners."

McMillen also took the opportunity to comment on the recent announcement by Torco Race Fuels to suspend some of its drag racing programs. "Hoosier Thunder Motorsports will continue to be powered by Torco Race Fuels," McMillen said. "Evan has been a friend to this team for a long time. Even though we aren't sponsored by Evan, we will continue to run Torco Racing Fuels and wear the Torco decals as a way to say thank you to Evan for all he's done for me, this team and the sport of drag racing. The entire Hoosier Thunder Motorsports team wish Evan a speedy recovery."

The team will make additional sponsor announcements in the coming weeks.
