T.J Schippling will be taking over as the driver of the KonRods Top Alcohol Funny Car.

Schippling brings 17 years of drag racing experience to the team. He will pilot a 2006 Monte Carlo flopper with Al Billes tuning.

"I feel very strong towards his abilities in driving our car and feel that he can take us towards the winners circle, and pleased that
everything  has come into place," said team owner Spiro Kontos. "I would also like to welcome Mr. Joe Roy (RMF Race Car Fabricating)
to our team as our full time crew member."

Roy brings along experience in Pro Stock as well as seasoned talent as a fabricator.

"These 2 people were the missing pieces of our puzzle and have given me confidence for this 2008 race season," Kontos said.
