ARP QUESTION OF THE WEEK RESULTS - SURVEY SAYS ... NO COOL DOWN TIME FOR POST-RUN INTERVIEWS

The readers of CompetitionPlus.com prefer the raw emotion. At least this is how 75-percent of 4,400 readers who cast votes in the latest ARP Question of the Week poll.

Readers were asked if they believe drivers should have a cool down period once they complete a run, or if the FoxSports camera were justified in grabbing the emotion as they exit immediately following a win or loss.

Peter Koennemann posted this on our Facebook page,  "Why not? For the most part, it always seems scripted. Miss the days of the likes of Al Hoffman, and Whit Bazemore and drivers telling it like it is. Everyone is too P.C. And afraid of what their sponsors might think. I say speak your mind, stay truthful to yourself and your fans."

"The intelligent thing to do would be to allow them time to gather their thoughts before attacking them, but sadly TV is all about drama instead of racing," added Facebook poster Jerry Taylor.
