BO BUTNER CALLS RACING COMMUNITY TO ACTION

Jim Butner Auto Group Pro Stock driver Bo Butner had a call to action during the iHeartRadio's Living Room Concert for America on Sunday night on FOX. The concert helped two charities -- Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation.

Yet, he wondered if there was still more that can be done to help those in need, especially when so many hospitals around the country are in need of equipment. That's when an idea came to him.

"If anyone knows of an organization that needs help, we are more than willing," Butner said on his Facebook account. "We have two semi trucks and a few of us that could help take goods of whatever might be done."

The Floyds Knobs, Indiana car dealer -- who also dabbles in Sportsman racing, as well -- made a plea to involve his fellow NHRA community. Presently, the NHRA and its teams will be on hiatus until at least the first week of June.

This means many teams will not be using their rigs and haulers for the time being. That gave Butner the idea that they could help out, as well.

"We also have a bunch of racing friends with semis, they won't be using for the next 70 days or so!," Butner added. "Therefore, if anyone knows of a way we can help or an organization, you can hook us up with, please reach out to me!"

Butner can be reached through "Bo Butner Racing" on Facebook. He can also be reached by calling the Jim Butner Auto Group at 812-944-4167.
