Pro Modified racer Marc Caruso, of Fairport, N.Y., exited his ’69 Camaro on his own Saturday afternoon after buzzing through the top-end sand trap, through the catch-netting and into the barrier of barrels at Bristol Dragway without parachutes in the class’ final qualifying pass for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.
