CHARLIE BUCK ENGINE SHOP TAKES MASSIVE HIT IN BURGLARY

Thieves struck King, North Carolina-based Charlie Buck Race Engines during the late evening hours of Thursday, June 19, stealing eight fully prepared race engines.  It is believed another $500,000 to $800,000 worth of parts and other accessories was also taken.

The theft was said to be the actions of two to three people.

Surveillance video shows a hole cut in the back fence to gain entry before disabling a security camera. Another hole was cut in the back of the building where the thieves gained access.

“They pretty much knew everything, where places were in the shop and everything,” Buck said in an article with www.myfox8.com. “It’s hard to believe somebody’s in your place doing something like this and you can’t do anything about it."

Anyone with information regarding the crime should call Crimestoppers at (800) 222-8506 FREE or the King Police Department at (336) 983-0886.

There's a $10,000 reward courtesy of the Buck Family for the arrest of the burglars
