DEFINITELY ONE BAD TO THE BONE TOP SPORTSMAN

When we think of Top Sportsman cars these days, the general thought process is a fast bracket car designed for efficiency at racing the clock, and against an equally determined driver in the other lane.

Phil Dion's new Jerry Bickel-built C-7 Corvette is one slick piece and takes this thought process to the next level. We've included some detailed shots including the lack of a hood scoop covering the EFI-equipped Sonny Leonard engine.

Without going into intracate detail, the neat Corvette has state-of-the-art wiring, which Bickel confirmed consumed as a Pro Nitrous job. The headers are in-house from Jerry Bickel Race Cars.

An interesting tidbit, the doors on the Corvette are actually a second set to replace the originals which were lost in the March fire which burned up a storage building at the Moscow Mills, Mo.-based shop.
