DICERO TO CONSULT THIS WEEKEND ON COLLIER FAMILY A/FD

Noted A/Fuel Dragster tuner Anthony Dicero plans to assist the Collier Family Racing operation this weekend as they compete in the NHRA Heartland Nationals. Dicero will consult with the team's tuner, Forrest Fair, this weekend on the dragster driven by  Steve Collier.

The Colliers, who compete in Super Comp and Super Gas, have experienced a banner season thus far with multiple wins. This weekend, they felt it was time to improve with the quickest and fastest car in their operation.

“We have been trying to run A/Fuel for a little over a year now,” said Steve Collier, driver of the family's Manpower-sponsored dragster. “My dad said it was time for this program to make strides to improve like our 90 Class cars, so we need extra eyes, and those eyes need to be successful, we strive for success, we hope Anthony can sway us back on course."

Diceero has quickly made a name for himself in the A/Fuel ranks through his Nitro University, a high-horsepower curriculum which trains rookie drivers in advance of a future in either Top Alcohol Dragster or Top Fuel. Jordan Vandergriff and Krista Baldwin are two of the high profile drivers currently enrolled in the Nitro University program.

The Colliers believe Dicero can steer their ship in the right direction.

“I am excited about working with the Collier Family,” said Dicero. “Their commitment to the 90 categories has been an outstanding success, if that is any indication of their capabilities, let’s just hope we are not on the same entry lists in the future, as I am training a family that does not like losing.”
