FATHEADZ NAMED ASSOCIATE SPONSOR OF CRUZ PEDREGON RACING

Fatheadz Eyewear has been named an official associate sponsor of Cruz Pedregon Racing for the remainder of the 2020 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) season.

Cruz Pedregon is the 1992 and 2008 NHRA Funny Car Champion and driver of the Snap-on Tools Dodge Charger Nitro Funny Car. He owns a $1.5 million shop in Brownsburg, Indiana. Pedregon wears Fatheadz Eyewear, but the partnership between Cruz Pedregon Racing and Fatheadz spans 15+ years.

“Fatheadz is very happy to expand our partnership with Cruz Pedregon Racing,” Rico Elmore, Fatheadz Founder and CEO, says. Cruz and I have been friends on and off the track for years. We work in different fields, but we share the same core values of teamwork and a commitment to excellence. I look forward to our increased role with the Cruz Pedregon team.”

Pedregon shared enthusiasm and support for the partnership:

“Fatheadz stepping up and becoming a major associate sponsor for the rest of the 2020 season is wonderful. Over the years, Rico has always been there for us and we’ve been there for Fatheadz,” Pedregon says. “This sponsorship goes a lot deeper than simply monetary support. We’re thrilled to have continued support from our friends at Fatheadz Eyewear.”

Fatheadz Eyewear, founded in Indiana in 2004, typically creates and offers eyewear specifically tailored to customers with heads too large to fit in standard width glasses comfortably. Recently, the company temporarily shifted production focus in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and has since produced several million pieces of PPE for healthcare workers.
