LARSEN ENTERS HER 20TH YEAR PILOTING JET DRAGSTER WITH A FOCUS ON THE FUTURE

Two decades behind the wheel of her iconic jet dragster has only made Elain Larsen better and faster. She will embark in 2022 on her “Two Decades of Thrills: Full Throttle Tour,” which will propel her into the next phase of her professional career.

At the end of the season, Larsen will change her focus as the primary driver for Larsen Motorsports (LMS). Instead, she will assume a more prominent leadership role within LMS, the company she founded with her husband, Chris, and Blazing Trails, the 501(C)3 non-profit she founded. She will work more on the R&D side of motorsports and connect students to exciting, non-traditional careers through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

Larsen has trained a score of young drivers to ensure a properly prepared next generation of the craft she’s practiced over two decades. In addition, LMS recognizes the myriad of sources for alternative energies and future motorsports developments that need to be developed.

Larsen doesn’t plan to retire, as she will focus on the role of the exclusive testing driver for Larsen Motorsports’ newest “Generation 6” jet dragsters currently in advanced development. At the same time, she will prioritize her driving time for special racing appearances, testing, and select events.

“I have been proud to represent the Florida Tech Panthers at venues across the United States,” Larsen said, “and I can’t think of anyone with whom I’d rather be affiliated for this tour.”

Larsen’s 2022 Florida Tech dragster will get a new paint scheme thanks to Sherwin-Williams®, a Larsen Motorsports sponsor who connected the team with Jenn Mayberry, a custom painter [Fav Airbrush Girl] in Atlantic City, NJ. Mayberry will create the new graphics on the jet dragster and airbrush them on the car using House of Kolor® exclusively.

Mayberry also refinished Larsen’s Simpson Racing Products Stilo driving helmet to match the jet car, using House of Kolor paint and products. Jenn’s creation is Pele; this 3D digital panther represents the Goddess of Volcanoes and Fire.

The Full Throttle Tour will take Larsen to new tracks and events and back to some old favorites. Larsen’s tour will begin in January 2022 and consist of a minimum of 10 races and additional appearances. A full schedule is available at LMSJETS.com.

Larsen plans for 2022 to be a “Bucket List Year,” which corresponds with her current Alliance For Lifetime Income partnership. This campaign encourages adults to create a “Retirement Bucket List.” The bucket list campaign helps to show adults that retirement is just a new chapter of life that can be both adventure-filled and relaxing.

Larsen credits a solid line-up of sponsors who have had a steady hand in her success.

“This is a game that takes many players, and all of those players are valuable to me,” Larsen said.

Larsen credits the crew that has supported her over the years and credits them for each touching her heart as a key to her success. Of course, wh adds, her husband, Chris, son Andrew jet-loving pug Nitro has allowed her to live her very best life.

Elaine will be working with sponsors and other close confidants to select her replacement as the team’s primary driver as the tour progresses. If you think you have what it takes to be the next Jet Dragster driver, access the “Contact Us” page at www.LMSJETS.com.
