MASSEL RACING WITH AUTOGEEK.COM AGAIN IN 2018

Bruno Massel Racing and Autogeek.com will be dance partners again.

Autogeek.com has agreed to sponsor the iconic sportsman racer, who also serves as a FOX Sports drag racing pit reporter.

“I met the folks at Autogeek back in 2011," Massel explained. "I was hosting a show for wounded US Veterans on SPEED Channel and they were a big supporter of the program and our Soldiers.

"We hit it off almost immediately and our relationship has continued to grow over the years, as Autogeek.com has established itself as the leading authority in the car care industry.”

Bruno’s role in the NHRA on FOX television broadcasts has grown this year, but a reasonably flexible schedule will enable him to take some time off to compete at a number of NHRA Mello Yello and Lucas Oil series events.

The first stop for the team will be this weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at ZMax Dragway in Charlotte, NC, an event where he is  defending Champion in the Competition Eliminator category.  He will also be doing double duty behind the wheel of his Factory Stock Showdown COPO Camaro.

“The struggle is real though with the COPO Camaro," said Massell, a fourth place finisher in the NHRA Comp championship points despite a part-time schedule.  "I crashed the car late last season and it really took the wind out of my sails.  The car was rebuilt by Daryl Herron at Mad Fab and I really believe we have a better car now than before.  The guys over at Kaase racing engines have spent a lot of time developing my engine program, now its time to see how it all comes together, said Massel.”

Bruno also races with sponsorship from Mobil 1, Chevrolet, Bruno’s Automotive Products, Kaase Racing Engines, Weld Wheels, Kilgore Super Light transmissions, Big Stuff3, Precision Turbo, JEGS, DMPE, K&N, Aeromotive and his NHRA on FOX teammates.
