'STEVIE FAST' HEADLINES WINNERS AT NO MERCY 10

The hits just keep on coming for Steve Jackson and his Killin' Time Racing crew. Fresh off back-to-back NHRA Pro Mod wins at Richmond, VA, and Charlotte, NC, which last weekend also clinched the 2019 NHRA Pro Mod championship, they continued their winning ways Oct. 20, by securing the prestigious Radials vs. The World title at Duck X Productions' No Mercy 10.

Also scoring No Mercy wins were Eddie Harrison in Limited Drag Radial, J.D. Campbell in Pro 275, Mike Cerminaro in X275, Brian Keep in Ultra Street, and the DXP 235 honors went to Martin Connelley. Additionally, Michael Strickland scored in Open Comp, while Jackson Henderson made a close-to-perfect run to win the 6.0 Index class.

Driving his screw-blown 2019 "Shadow" Camaro, Jackson stepped up in the third-and-final qualifying session with a 3.60 at 212.43 mph to lead the 32-car field into eliminations. He then beat Frank Mewshaw, Dustin Jackson and Huston Dial before meeting Tim Slavens in the RVW final.

Once there, Jackson left with a .024 reaction, then laid down a 3.69 at 207.59 mph to take his fourth Duck X RVW win home to Evans, GA.
