Tasca Racing is bringing Bob Tasca III and his 10,000-horsepower TascaParts.com Ford Shelby Mustang to Richmond, looking for a major win at the NHRA Virginia Nationals. The event runs June 8–10 as part of the 2018 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

Coming off a Semi Final finish at Chicago, Tasca is only 12 points out of the top 10.

“We have had our struggles starting out this season, but most people don’t realize that we only had 6 weeks to pull this program together,” Tasca said. “Considering we have a brand new team, totally new setup and six weeks to make it happen I’m not disappointed only being 12 points out of the top ten this early in the season.

“However, trust me, this team wants and expects much more. I had a goal to come out of the east coast swing solidly in the top ten and we are in a great position to do just that. I can’t wait to race this weekend and promote my family’s online parts business.”
