Evan Knoll remains tight-lipped regarding his plans for involvement with the IHRA but has hinted of some major improvements in purse to be put in place with the sanctioning body. The popular rumor is that he's planning to double the purses for the IHRA's Top Fuel and Funny Car divisions. His generosity won't stop there we are told. Reportedly, he's working to double the purse of the Pro Modified and Pro Stock shootouts which would reward $40,000 to win and $18,000 runner-up. Knoll's only comment is, "Wait until after Indy."
