You've likely heard that more changes are coming to Pro Stock for 2017, but those changes are likely one significant change. A source close to the situation has told us the only significant alteration to the rules will be a new tire forthcoming from Goodyear. Since Goodyear is the spec tire for NHRA Pro Stock, the change is mandatory, but likely will not be fully enforced until July when the current supply should be fully out of circulation.
