The Holley NMRA Ford Nationals has named Whipple Superchargers as the title sponsor of the biggest and baddest all-Ford motorsport event of the year—the NMRA World Finals + Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival, which runs September 30 thru October 3 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

“Whipple Superchargers is a huge part of the Mustang scene and it’s exciting having them as title sponsor of the NMRA World Finals + Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival. Their products are well represented in the NMRA championship eliminators and street car categories, as well as on the show grounds. This year’s event is shaping up to being the biggest event in NMRA’s 22-year history as participants and spectators began buying advance tickets the day we opened sales! We’ve never seen this kind of response this early for an event. That shows the passion and excitement in the Ford market,” said Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Director of the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals. 

With two races in the books for the 2021 Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown, the competition is heating up heading into this weekend’s NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. The third race of the eight-race specialty series will feature an ongoing battle between 2020 champion Aaron Stanfield and a tough field of contenders led by most recent winner David Barton as well as Jesse Alexandra, Jesse Skinner, Mark Pawuk and David Janac.

Designed to showcase competition between Chevrolet COPO Camaro, Ford Mustang Cobra Jet and the Dodge Mopar Challenger Drag Pak entries the Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown series has seen increased car counts at races across the country and has an enthusiastic fan following.

Tons of talent and tenacity will be showcased when sportsman racers arrive for the 15th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, July 2-4, 2021 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

This is the seventh year the Mutt & Jeff Promotions Race has been on the minds of bracket racers in the northeast corner of the country. This week, hundreds will descend upon Pennsylvania’s Beaver Springs Dragway to do battle for thousandths of dollars in prizes along with more in random product and giveaway awards.

On again, off again… and back on again. That may be what appears to be happening during a run in any of the super category classes. “Daddy, why did that car look like it broke and then came back to life?” A question for the ages.

As current super category racer Bill Phillips once said, “The first time I saw these cars running, I thought this was the stupidest thing I’d ever seen. And now I’m doing it. But it is both exciting and difficult to do at the same time.”

On Friday night, the SFG Promotions team crowned the first of the FTI SFG 350 winners. After ten grueling rounds of racing featuring some of the biggest names in Bracket Racing, Matt Dadas came out victorious, taking the $50,000 grand prize in Friday’s main-event sponsored by FuelTech.
