Funny Car design and technology was at a crossroads in 1986, and two of drag racing's premiere Funny Car racers knew it. In this excerpt from a Diamond P video production, the late Steve Evans along with drag racing legends Don Prudhomme and Kenny Bernstein discuss their thoughts related to a futuristic rendering from iconic drag racing artist Kenny Youngblood.

It's amazing, just two years later Bernstein would unveil his "Batmobile" Funny Car design, and in essence jump start the space race for aerodynamics in Funny Car racing. This short clip is an entertaining piece to watch.
