MANLEY'S 1,000+ HP H-TUFF SERIES RODS FOR CHEVY LS, LT1

Manley Performance has made a significant improvement over traditional H-Beam connecting rods in the form of the new H-Tuff series for Chevrolet LS and LT1 applications. Engineered for high combustion pressure environments—including elevated boost supercharged and turbocharged engines—Manley’s new H-Tuff rods deliver exceptional performance at a very modest increase over standard H-Beam prices.

H-Tuff rods are forged from premium aircraft grade vacuum degassed 4340 steel alloy with increased cross-sectional thickness in all critical areas. Additional reinforcement comes from a double-ribbed pin surround. With all of that, they’re only about 25 grams heavier than a standard H-Beam rod at approximately 680 grams.

Equipped with 220,000 psi 7/16″ ARP 2000® rod bolts, Manley H-Tuff LS/LT1 rods are rated for 1,000 flywheel horsepower in drag racing applications (or more, depending on RPM, stroke, piston weight and power-adders).

Additionally, the rods are heat-treated, stress-relieved, shot-peened and 100% magnafluxed. The 6.125″ length rods (.025″ longer than stock) come in weight matched sets ± 1.5 grams. For details visit www.manleyperformance.com
