Officials at Piedmont Dragway in Greensboro, NC, announced yesterday co-owners Ron Senecal and Gilmer Hinshaw has purchased the interest in the track previously held by Bob Harris.

Officials at Piedmont Dragway in Greensboro, NC, announced yesterday co-owners Ron Senecal and Gilmer Hinshaw has purchased the interest in the track previously held by Bob Harris.

"I am saddened to see Bob leave but I understand his situation and look forward to working with Ron and Gilmer and continuing to make Piedmont Dragway as good as it can be," stated Jim Turner, day to day operations manager at the track."

Turner will continue to run the day to day operations along with Lynn Sparks and Bubba Turner. Bob Harris will remain involved with coordinating and directing the bracket program and doorslammer event scheduled in November.

Senecal, the owner of one of the largest construction companies in the east coast, and Henshaw, a multi-time IHRA and NHRA champion and Big Dog competitor, owns and operates Hinshaw Tile Co.
