2020 YELLOWBULLET NATIONALS CANCELED

Cecil County Dragway has suffered another blow to their schedule. Just days after the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event was canceled for this weekend, the Yellowbullet Nationals has been canceled.

The Yellowbullet Nationals were expected to take place from Sept. 2-6, 2020 at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event has now been canceled.

Monty Mikho said in a Facebook post that the event will be made up in the Spring. The 11th anniversary event will now have to wait until the restrictions lessen before a new date is announced.

“As everyone knows, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the rules and regulations that we are forced to follow by our state and local authorities severely limits our ability to operate a race track,” Mikho said. The rules and regulations change quite frequently without notice. Due to the current rules and regulations in place we would not be able to put on a race that would host a large number of racers and spectators and we want everyone to enjoy the Yellowbullet Nationals experience.

“Therefore, we are postponing the 2020 Yellowbullet.com Nationals until the Spring of 2021. Once we get closer to 2021 and know what the rules and regulations are at that time, we will narrow down a date.”
