COMPETITION PLUS APPAREL AND MODERN OUTLAW TEAM UP TO BRING THEIR BRANDS TO NHRA EVENTS; RACER T-SHIRTS TO WEB

 

CompetitionPlus.com, the leading independent drag racing news source for over two decades, has teamed up with apparel giant Modern Outlaw to deliver their branded merchandise to the NHRA Camping World Series. Additionally, the partnership will bring the racer t-shirts sold from their trailer to CompetitionPlusApparel.com.

The working alliance will enable the parties access to areas their product lines have missed.

"I have known Mike Buckner and his team at Modern Outlaw and like the way they operate," said Bobby Bennett, publisher/editor, and founder of the CompetitionPlus.com brand in 1999. We decided some of our best advertising was through our fans and wanted to create a very impact-driven presentation, and with our Competition Plus Apparel brand, we have been able to do this.

"It's safe to say CompetitionPlus.com is largely a niche brand for those in drag racing, and we have long felt we have missed a large market of drag racing fans by not offering a regular presentation for in-person marketing. Modern Outlaw provides us a big stage for presentation."

Buckner took over Modern Outlaw in 2006 and has provided lifestyle and apparel products on the NHRA series ever since. The brand is one of the most respected names on the NHRA Midway.

Shirley Muldowney and Josh Hart will be the first two Modern Outlaw offerings on competitionplusapparel.com. Likewise, CompetitionPlus items, including the "As American As Nitro" product line will be available starting at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMax Dragway.
