DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AUSTRALIAN DRAGS AND AMERICAN

ANDRA Championship Television continues to invade Australian screens on the Nine
Network, SBS and Fox Sports over the next week!

Again all ANDRA Drag
Racing categories receive plenty of exposure.

This Saturday sees the
highlights of the Quickest Top Fuel field in Australian Drag Racing history on
Channel 9, with the show commencing from 12-noon. The exception is Perth, who
will be telecast on the Sunday - due to conflicts with local Cricket
coverage.

Please note for WIN Television viewers, you will need to check
local guides for specific viewing details.

RACING CHEF GETS FIERY

Team JEGS chef Nicky Morse will lend his educated palate to the North Market’s
fifth annual Fiery Foods Festival, which takes place Saturday, Feb. 16, at the
famous 131-year-old Farmer's Market in downtown Columbus. The decorated chef and
star of the TV show "The Racing Chef" will judge the annual Customer Chili
Cook-off beginning at noon.

"I'm excited to see what people come up
with," said Morse, who usually spends his time preparing meals for members of
the JEGS Mail Order race team at various racetracks around the country. "The
North Market offers so many different kinds of meats, fresh vegetables, peppers,
and spices that the different varieties of chili someone could come up with are
literally limitless.

"I'm going to grade them hard. For me, the meat has
to be just right. It has to be the right size and consistency. The way the
vegetables are cooked into the recipe is also very important. Of course, the
taste is a big deal. You need some heat in there but you don't want to overpower
the flavor. I wish everyone the best of luck."

TOCHER JOINS ADRL STAFF

The Flowmaster American Drag Racing League (ADRL) presented by the
National Guard today announced that Ian Tocher has been named its new
vice president of communications.

“Over the past several years I’ve watched the ADRL explode in
popularity,” Tocher said. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join
a team that shares not only my passion for drag racing, but also sees a
real need to deliver drag racing to a younger and more diverse
audience.”

Tocher will work closely with ADRL President Kenny Nowling and his
staff to maximize the O’Fallon, Mo-based sanctioning body’s profile in
print, radio, television and online media outlets. He also will
facilitate the needs of media representatives at each of the series’
nine scheduled national events this year, continue as editor of
Adrenaline, the ADRL’s in-house magazine, and spearhead an effort to
improve and maintain the company’s official Web site, www.ADRL.us.

NHRA CHANGES QUALIFYING FORMAT

Given the significant impact weather and atmospheric
conditions have had on qualifying for NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series
events in past seasons, NHRA has modified its race qualifying procedure.

Beginning with the CARQUEST Auto Parts Winternationals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona,
Feb. 7-10, the top 12 elapsed times in each pro category will be
provisionally recorded prior to the last day of qualifying. Those teams
who were unable to earn a provisional spot in the top 12 will have an
opportunity to make the 16-car starting order during the final day of
qualifying.

While the 12 provisional times are officially recorded prior
to the last day of qualifying, those positions are not locked-in. All
teams will have the opportunity to improve their positions during the
final day of qualifying and can bump in or be bumped out of the field.
