Last season in NHRA, Pro Stock Motorcycle veteran Scotty Pollacheck turned some heads.

The Oregon native finished a career-best third in the NHRA season points standings and won his inaugural national event title, capturing the crown at the Denso U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis in September.

A near-perfect reaction time and weekend-best 3.665-second, 205.35 mph blast carried Jay Cox to his first Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous victory of the 2021 season at the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) Stroud Safety Doorslammer Derby presented by Classic Graphix at Beech Bend Raceway Park.

Billy Torrence was a man of few words after capturing the No. 1 qualifying spot at the final Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway.

Torrence clocked a 3.815-second run at 323.43 mph in the second and final qualifying session to take the top spot in his Capco Contractors family-owned dragster.

J.R. Todd began the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series year in the strongest possible way, taking the Wally at the season-opening Gatornationals March 14, at Gainesville, Fla., in his Kalitta Motorsports DHL Toyota Camry nitro Funny Car.

Todd will try to make it two wins in three races when he starts in the No. 1 qualifying spot for the Lucas Oil NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway Sunday as the historic venue hosts its final event before closing for good.

Greg Anderson is now 3-for-3.

The former NHRA Pro Stock world champion has now qualified No. 1 at the first three races of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series.
