The 2017 Gearhead Racing Series Fun in the Sun Bracket race, A Tribute to Scott Weney will return to Bradenton Motorsports on November 10 - 12, 2017. 

Lucas Oil will serve as presenting sponsor along with associate presenters Strange Engineering and Drag Racing Edge Magazine. 

The three-day event will host four seperate eighth-mile drag races with three of them paying $10,000 and one rewarding the champion with a $20,000 payday. All purses are garuanteed.  Additionally the event will feature a run for the money with bonus, best losing packages, cookout, product giveaways throughout the event and more.
