FEEDBACK FRIDAY - TORONTO MOTORSPORTS PARK = TOO MANY BROKEN PROMISES

FEEDBACK ARTICLE - TORONTO MOTORSPORTS PARK = TOO MANY BROKEN PROMISES

I would suggest to you that given all your great wisdom and financial prowess, that you buy the track and then you would have the opportunity to make the improvements you are suggesting. After all, it would not cost very much to pave the pits, by my estimation the pro pits which are an area of about 60,000 square feet, and at a unit price of about $6 per square foot this minor outlay would be $360,000

When you finish that, you can pave some of the sportsman’s pits, and if you have some cash left over, maybe new lights, sound system, etc.

Race tracks are a business and just like any other business, they have to show a positive cash flow or they will not be around. Welcome to the real world. - Dick Kirkpatrick, Carlisle, ON

Very good article couldn't have said it better myself the only way things will change is if all the racer just stay home from these piss poor excuses for race tracks there unsafe and not a very enjoyable way to spend your hard earned money and hard to come by free time is a decent pit space a decent restroom to much to ask for on my 500.00 dollar week end? - Bruce Barth, Pinckney, MI

I think that they need to be told to ship up or ship out. Because, if they don't the racers some or all may boycott this race. Now that won't look very good for IHRA, this will really bring in more fans and definitely more NHRA racers. Smart thinking this is exactly want you need to do to bring more racers & fans to IHRA. IHRA needs to make the track put it's priorities in the right order. Yes the bathrooms are nice for both the racers & fans. You have to do things for the racers first because if you don't you will have no racer. And if you have no racers you have no fans & that goes both ways. You have to balance what is best for the racers and what’s best for the fans because if you lose on you will lose the other. IHRA has standards for all tracks they need to enforce it at all tracks. You need to be fixing these thinks so that you draw in more people. I know things take time but I think T.O. has had enough time don't you think.

This is just my opinion & everybody is allowed to have there own. But enough is enough with stupid mistakes that IHRA is allowing these tracks to get away with. Make them fix it because neither one wants to lose a national event ($$$$$) - Melissa Stinnett, Loudon, TN
