FEEDBACK FRIDAY – GREG ANDERSON – THE APPRENTICE

FEEDBACK ARTICLE – GREG ANDERSON – THE APPRENTICE

2-25-08andersonhagen.jpgThe apprentice article on Greg Anderson today was excellent.  What an awesome guy.  His sincerity and appreciation for the people around him is almost uncommon in today's world.  His post run interviews he is always gracious win or lose; and he is someone that truly can be a role model for the rest of the racing community. - Pat Norcia

Greg Anderson and Jeg------two really "class acts" - they both are true ambassadors of the sport extremely polite in their TV interviews and in the pits----unlike WJ and his crew----I was personally verbally abused by WJ's crew chief / crewman at the Pontiac Pro Stock race in Vegas---that’s when I put the "curse" on WJ------he will not win a national event this year. - George Ramos

I was at that race where John Hagen tragically lost his life. It was a real shock to everybody at the track. You go to the track and watch round after round of racing and you take for granted the safety of the racers and their cars. What was so shocking about his death was that it happened at his home track. I did not personally know John Hagen, but to leave such an impression on Greg Anderson it shows just how great he was as a racer, father, husband, son, and friend. - Mark Marjama

What a great but tragic story. I used to watch pro stock from the very beginning in 1970 and always rooted for the underdog drivers back then including Bob Glidden. John Hagen was one of those guys you hoped would put a holeshot win up against the big factory backed teams. It is great to know that Greg still remembers, and repects his memory.  - Richard Arbiso

WOW, great story. As a Canadian who attended the "Northstar Nationals" in Brainerd, beginning in 1984 until the mid 90's, I never knew any of this history. It really sheds some light on the kind of person Greg Anderson is, and makes a closer connection for me. Thanks for publishing that. - Blair Alderton
