TCI® CLAIMER ELASTONER BALANCER

TCI® designs lightweight harmonic balancer for Small Block Chevy circle track “Claimer” engines that is economical, yet strong tci_balancer.jpgenough for harsh racing conditions In circle track racing, stresses and failures are common on OEM or “cheap” external engine components e.g., balancers. However, engineers at TCI® have recently designed a harmonic balancer for Small Block Chevy “Claimer” engines that is lighter in weight, thereby increasing engine life as well as performance.

The TCI® Claimer Elastomer Balancer utilizes a pressure bonding assembly to ensure that its outer ring will not turn or move, which is a common cause of engine failure with factory and lesser quality aftermarket balancers. A major advantage of this balancer’s pressure bonding is its increased resistance to inertia ring spin or dislocation. In addition, the TCI® Claimer Elastomer Balancer incorporates a super strong SG iron inertia ring and hub for longer life and better performance. The stronger SG iron material helps resist the flaking and cracking that is commonly found in traditional cast iron balancers.

And with less weight, the new TCI® balancer reduces the stress to the crankshaft! For the circle track enthusiast that is looking for the perfect match of engineering and economics in a balancer, look no further. These elastomer balancers are available in both 6 ¼" and 7" diameters.
