Word Products makes it easy for anyone with a Camaro, Corvette or Firebird powered by GM’s Gen III and IV LS-series engines get some serious power for their ride through installing a 427 (7 liter), 454 or 481 cubic inch “partial” engine. Essentially a long block assembly, it includes the short block, cylinder heads, cam and valvetrain; allowing use of the existing EFI intake, ignition and exhaust systems.

A World Products all-aluminum LS7X block is the foundation for the engine.  It incorporates key features like priority main oiling and provisions for two extra head bolts per cylinder lacking in the GM OEM blocks. The bottom end is reinforced with cross-bolted billet steel main caps secured with ARP 200,000 psi main studs. An electronically balanced rotating assembly consisting of a 4340 forged steel crank, 4340 forged steel H-beam rods and Manley forged aluminum pistons is employed.

The 427 c.i.d. package features a 9.240” deck Warhawk block and available with the street/strip LS1X heads (15° valve angle, 235cc intake runners) or the big LS7X heads (12° valve angle, 285cc intake runners, 6-bolt-per-cylinder). Similar options are available for the 454 and 481 c.i.d. packages, which are based on a 9.800” deck block. A 24x reluctor wheels is standard and 58x available.
