M-W ENTERPRISES OFFERS VIPER DRIVELINE UPGRADES

new_mw_533asm.jpgHighly respected racing driveline manufacturer Mark Williams Enterprises has developed a CV joint conversion packages for Vipers that offers improvemenets in both handling and long-term durability.

For 1st Generation Vipers (1992-95) the M-W kit does away with the factory U-joints (which often can bind and inhibit handling) and replaces them with super strong Size 21 competition CV joints (128mm). The retrofit requires reworking the OEM hubs, incorporating new CV flanges made of 4340 alloy steel, and employing new half-shafts made of 300M alloy steel.

2nd (1996-2002) and 3rd Generation Vipers can also be fitted with M-W packages. A 300M half-shaft assembly, which uses the OEM 108 mm CV joints, is available. For ultimate reliability Viper owners can opt for a complete package with 128mm CV joints.

Williams also offers a drag race package that utilizes a special 35-spline spool, special CV flanges, half-shafts, CV joints, outer flanges, and requires reworking the factory hubs. It has been proven effective and reliable by Viper racers who have recorded 1/4-mile times in the 7s at over 180 mph.
